These sterile cotton-tipped applicators are for sample collection and transport, and for sanitary equipment and environmental control studies in facilities such as hospitals, food processing plants, restaurants, etc.
The sterile Swube Disposable Applicator is a swab protected by a clear tube. The swab is fixed to a screw cap, which provides a leakproof seal that allows either dry sample transport or the addition of reagents, media or solutions.
Convenient and disposable, these applicators can be used in many ways: as mixing rods, for general lab application, or for specimen transfer. The cotton tips are great for specimen collection, or cleaning fine instruments. Choose Applicators without glue for lens cleaning. Use Applicators with Polyester or Foam Tip for specimen collection. Polyester Tip Applicators are optimal for buccal specimen collection. Transport Tubes protect samples and prevent contamination during specimen transport.
