For Easy Pipetting and Identification of Samples in Microplates
The TubeMarker allows printing directly onto the surface of plastic laboratory tubes between 8 mm - 25 mm* in diameter.
There is no need for using labels or marker pens. Marking is resistant to ethanol, isopropanol, water, DMSO, liquid nitrogen and mechanical abrasion. The prints are also stable over a wide temperature range (-196°C to 100°C). Markings do not transfer when touching the tubes.
Several lines of text can be printed, for example sample name, sampling site, your name, date, time etc. All TrueType fonts available on the connected computer can be printed with different font types and sizes, determining the maximum printed content. Bold and italic type is also possible.
The instrument also prints linear barcodes, 2D codes and graphic files (monochrome .bmp, .gif, .tiff) such as logos. Print orientation can be vertical or horizontal (except for barcodes which print vertically only).
Printing straight to the tube surface is much easier and faster than marking by hand.
These Vari-Plate frames are moulded from rigid polycarbonate for use with our polypropylene Vari-Strips.
The Vari-Strips are inserted into the Vari-Plate frames to form a complete plate, part plate, or individual strip with an easy-to-handle frame.
As the Vari-Strips are interchangeable with the Vari-Plate frames, the frames themselves are re-useable; simply purchase more Vari-Strips to use.
For use with the a4S Automatic Roll Heat Sealer
TLC Reagent Sprayers deliver a uniform spray mist of visualization reagents for TLC and Paper Chromatography. Spray pattern is adjusted by varying the position of the thumb on the vent hole. TLC reagents or corrosive liquids touch only the nonreactive borosilicate glass atomizing sprayer head and flask. Sprayers feature a head-to-flask connection that consists of a screw-thread ground joint, a connecting cap, and a loosening ring. If reagent crystallization or residue formation causes the joint to freeze, unscrew the cap back onto the ring and the joint will easily come apart. Sprayers operate on as little as 1psi (0.07 kg/cm2), although optimum results are obtained at 3 to 5psi (0.21 to 0.35 kg/cm2). Remove connecting cap, loosening ring and O-ring before autoclaving.
The Nunc Amplification Workstation can be used on the bench-top and then easily transported to a thermal cycler or freezer for storage. The tray holds most V-bottom 0.2mL tubes and plates and can be removed from the holder once loaded. After a PCR application, the tray can be returned to the holder and covered with a transparent polystyrene lid for convenient stacking and freezer storage. Withstands temperatures ranging from -4°F to 230°F (-20°C to 110°C).
