MSI® Cameo Nylon Syringe Filter with Prefilter

These Nylon Syringe Filters contain a naturally hydrophobic nylon membrane filter which yields an exceptionally low extractable level of less than 0.0015mg/cm2. The Nylon contains no wetting agents, and it is prerinsed in methanol to completely eliminate any possible extractables which could interfere with the results in sensitive applications. The nylon filter resists temperatures up to 356°F (180°C). The nonsterile 17GN (17mm) and 30GN (30mm) filters also feature a 1.0 micron glass prefilter. This prefilter provides high throughputs and quick flow rates when filtering high particulate or viscous samples, for trouble-free operation and consistent test results. Both the 17GN and the 30GN have housings made of pure polypropylene, so together with the nylon filter, these units are autoclavable. They are also compatible with most organic solvents, including acetone, methylene chloride and acetonitrile. All units are labeled with pore size and filter type for quick identification, and all are tested to verify the integrity of the filter and the housing. Holdup volume of<15µL and sample volume of<18mL.
