Ohaus® Navigator Portable Balance
The versatile Navigator Balance offers the advantages of portability without sacrificing powerful performance. It utilizes microprocessor electronics to make each job easy. A user interface with four cursor keys makes setup simple. Straightforward menus and prompts easily and quickly guide the user through the process. Full-range taring is available at the touch of a button. Readings and text messages are displayed on the 2¯ high-contrast LCD. An error indicator identifies overloads and under-loads. It features 12 weighing units (grams, milligrams, pounds, ounces, carats, pennyweight, troy ounces, taels, ticals, mommes, grains, and newtons) and a custom weighing unit. The balance is ideal for lab functions such as animal weighing, parts counting, check weighing, etc. A spill gutter to direct liquids off the balance and a sealed front panel allow the balance to be used in harsh conditions. Selective vibration filtering is used to provide a stable display. Autozero tracking minimizes drift. Balance comes with an RS-232 bidirectional interface for connection to a computer. It operates on either 8 "AA" batteries (not included) or with a supplied AC power adapter (120V 50/60Hz). Other standard features include stainless steel weighing pan and a windshield that protects pan and blocks air currents to ensure stable results. Optional InCal Autocalibration automatically senses ambient temperature changes and alerts the user when calibration is required. Covered by a five-year warranty (U.S. and Canada only).
