Steam sterilization of research tools and consumables is convenient and affordable with the new BioClave Digital Autoclaves. The compact size fits almost any bench-top, and the stainless steel interior is surprisingly large. Sterilize a variety of liquids, media, instruments, glassware, plastic-ware and other laboratory items. Start the sterilization cycle with the press of a button. The large digital displays track the fully automated operation. A mechanical and electrical safety interlock prevents the door from being opened until the pressure has reached zero PSI. Stainless trays and a tray removal tool are included.
The16L BioClave offers these standard cycles: sterilization of liquids, wrapped instruments, unwrapped instruments/plastic-ware and "dry only". All settings are fully adjustable for special applications. A printer is available to record sterilization parameters of the 16L BioClave. Includes three stainless trays. The8L BioClave Mini is pre-programmed to meet basic sterilization needs. Temperature can be selected at 121°C or 134°C, but the sterilization time is fixed. Tinted blue DualPeel® sterilization tubing is made for those odd-sized, long or bulky objects that will not fit into your standard sterilization pouches. It has two chemical process indicators and a clear plastic/surgical-grade paper combination. Simply cut the tubing to the length you need, insert the item and heat seal the open ends. Choose from six widths. 100™ per roll.
DualPeel® Self-Seal and DualPeel® Heat-Seal paper sterilization pouches address the three primary requirements for a peel pouch: breathability, sterile barrier and indication of processing. These pouches combine a fracture-resistant film and a high-strength surgical-grade paper which provide adequate breathability and required sterile barrier. These pouches also feature a peelable low-lint design. Dual chemical indicators visually identify those packages that have been exposed to either steam or EO sterilization. Self-Seal pouches have extra-strength adhesive for sealing.
Bio-Shield® regular sterilization wraps are ideal for lighter specialty trays, pitchers, small basins and huck towels.
LEMON-AIDE® will remove unwanted odors from your facility by chemically absorbing odor-causing molecules instead of masking them. LEMON-AIDE® is a deodorant, not a deodorizer. It does not try to mask one odor by trying to overwhelm it with another. Simply place one capsule in your autoclave or incubator with each load. The heat and moisture will dissolve the capsule and release the clean fresh scent.
These pads are impregnated with a heat-released deodorant that doesn't merely mask autoclave odors, but actually neutralizes them with one of four pleasant scents. A protective cover melts in autoclaves, allowing the deodorant to be heat activated. Neat and easy to handle, simply unwrap and place a pad in each bag prior to autoclaving.
Standard Pads are 32mm.
Triple-Strength Pads are 57mm.
