WheatonŽ Media Bottles

WheatonŽ "400" Borosilicate Glass (meets USP Type 1 standards) has low alkali content to help prevent changes in pH and maintain purity of contents. When fitted with the rubber-lined cap, this bottle is widely used for mixing and storage of culture media. With the LDPE-lined cap, it is suitable for distilled water, analytical standards and reagents. The TeflonŽ-lined cap, available with the graduated bottles, is inert to most chemicals.

Bottles are designed with large openings and sloping shoulders to facilitate pouring, filling and cleaning. Bottles, TeflonŽ- and rubber-lined caps are autoclavable. Safety-coated bottles are also available; call customer service for information.
